The RÖNTGEN Grit band is dedicated for cutting-off materials that do not producing chips. The cutting-off process is based on the abrasion phenomenon what requires the band high speed and high fatigue resistance of the carrying band. The carbide embankment on the cutting surface is very sharp and abrasion resistant. The use of the embankment enables cutting-off with the band in both direction what optimizes the saw work and performance. The wide embankment range enables band selection depending on expected cutting-off speed, the cut surface finish and the worked material.
